The castle of Castellaras, parts of which date back to the 11th century, remains the main attraction which entices visitors from all over the world during the summer season. Nestled in a private estate, it belongs to the community. Its chapel was built by the monks from the island of Saint-Honorat, one of the two Lerins islands located in the bay of Cannes, a short boat ride from the town.

The views from the castle are spectacular: you can discover the Mediterranean the bay of Cannes and also the Estérel Mountains, Mougins village, the Alps, the Gorges du Loup and the villages of Opio, Valbonne and Vence.

Castellaras offers an array of various activities: there are: many golf courses and tennis courts are in its immediate vicinity, the sea is only a few kilometres away, and angling can be practised in the nearby streams. Getting there

By car: Take the A8 motorway and exit at n° 42 Grasse-Mougins-Mouans-Sartoux.

By train: Cannes station is connected to the TGV from Paris and abroad.

By plane: Nice Côte d’Azur International airport and the private Cannes-Mandelieu airport (business aviation).
